A cookie is a small text file that a server can place on your computer's hard drive in the Browser, tablet, mobile phone, or, briefly, in the device you use to browse the Internet, which contains information about the user's session, language, or origin.
The user can configure the cookies and decide whether to reject the installation of cookies or accept them. If you continue to browse, without taking any action, you are accepting the installation of cookies. ClarkeModet recommends that cookies be accepted as they do not invade the users' privacy and because they are relevant information that allows you to continue to use the service available through the Platform.
Depending on their nature, cookies may be classified as:
Session cookies and Permanent cookies: The first cookies are deleted once the Browser is closed, while the second remain on the computer's disk.
Own cookies and third-party cookies: depending on whether they belong to the Platform owner or to a third party.
Third-party cookies: ClarkeModet does not use third-party cookies, except those strictly necessary to provide the service through the Platform.
Cookies required for browsing: The installation of this type of cookies is required for browsing, as well as for ClarkeModet to have legally mandatory information, such as the data of the user who has accepted or rejected the Cookies Policy.
In addition, from the configuration indicated above, it is possible to configure the Internet Browser so that it notifies the user whenever a new cookie has to be stored on the computer, allowing the user to decide to accept or reject it. However, you should note that some parts of the Platform may not work properly if cookies are rejected.
To enable, identify, block or delete cookies installed on your computer, you can do so by configuring the options of the installed Browser. For example, you can find information on how to do it, if you use the following browsers:
